They’re growing!

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

Money frees you from doing things you dislike. Since I dislike doing nearly everything, money is handy.” — Groucho Marx

A wise man, that Groucho.

You may have noticed the addition of some more advertising up and around Crossworlds.  Darin and I are trying to increase the revenue from Crossworlds outside of the donations.  (Remember, Darin charges almost $50 for a single figure commission!)  With the advertising, it helps bring some of the costs down and allows Darin to continue to do the three comics a week instead of two.

So, please show your thanks by visiting those who help support us.

It is well worth the reward.

Congratulations are in order!

No, no…  Not for Darin and I reaching one year with Crossworlds, nor passing our 100th page.

I wish to send our congratulations to Chris & Kristin Hazelton (Peacecraft & Third-Child of Misfile — misfile.com) on the birth of their son, Avery Phillip!

Now, something for you all to do:  Kristin was diagnosed with preeclampsia and had an emergency caesarean almost one and a half months before her due date.  Both Kristin and Baby Avery are still in the hospital (with Avery in the NICU), so I call out to all Crossworlders to give prayers, best wishes, or whatever your religion and/or beliefs may be to the Hazeltons for a speedy and full recovery.

August Already?

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Let me start by thanking John Lotshaw of Accidental Centaurs for his guest comic this past few weeks.  Maybe Beazel & Ryndi aren’t the goof-ups everybody thinks they are?

Nah….

But…  Wow.  It seems like it was just yesterday that Darin and I put the first page of Crossworlds up.  And here it is, one year later.

How time flies when you’re getting older!

Even though the actual one year anniversary is this week, we have one more week of guest stories.  Then, Monday, August the 11th, Darin will post a special Anniversary bonus picture, and the following Wednesday, the regular story will start back up!

Thank you all for your great support of Crossworlds and here’s hoping to many more anniversaries to come!
