Superman wasn’t born on Krypton
In the 1930’s, two young men dreamed of a visitor from another planet. A visitor with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
They dreamed of Superman.
Jerry Seigel and Jerome “Joe” Shuster created the Man of Tomorrow. And the rest of their lives was difficult due to legal dealings from the National Periodical Publications (the company that was better known as DC Comics).
Now, the Cleveland, Ohio home where Superman was truly born is decrepit and needs extensive repairs. The city of Cleveland doesn’t care. Warner Brothers (the current owners of DC Comics) doesn’t care.
But we should.
